At Your Life Your Support we are passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people that we work with. Our person-centred approach to our work means that our clients receive the best support for them courtesy of our highly trained, dedicated and caring community support workers.
Your Life Your Support provides services that cover a wide spectrum of need, including people with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Sensory, communication or visual impairments
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Acquired brain injuries
Mental health support requirements
Your Life Your Support are always willing to support wherever we can, so if you would like to discuss any requirements that do not relate to the above list, do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are proud to adopt a person-centred approach to care. All our clients are given personalised support plans that are continually reviewed and adapted to suit the individual needs of the client. We also match our clients with staff who complement them in terms of interests and personality to ensure a positive and productive relationship between Support Worker and client.
Our extensive training package ensures that our staff are trained to the highest standard. In addition to receiving the CQC Care Certificate as a standard requirement, our staff do the NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as well as a whole host of specialist courses, including manual handling, dementia training, administering medication, infection control and delivering person centred care.
Our staff do not wear uniform! We believe that uniforms disempower the person receiving support and we believe that non-uniform promotes inclusion.
Your Life Your Support are built out of a passion for people and for a passion to promote independence, individuality and inclusion in everything we do. We are a family business, with many of the original team still with us today.
We give our clients a voice. It is for this reason that we create detailed and personalised care plans that are continually updated and reviewed with the client and their supporters.
